Due October 3rd: Posters in either PowerPoint or pdf files should be emailed to

The posters should all be 32" x 42" or 42" x 32" and display the ASC logo and the Stanford logo. You can have your posters printed and mounted by

Posters should be in PDF or Powerpoint and should measure either 42" x 32" or 32" x 42".

Please make sure that both the Stanford and ASC logo are displayed correctly (in the past we had issues with conversion between Mac and PCs).

The PSAAP AST Meeting Poster Session TBA.

Please contact HPCC Support Team directly at hpcc-support@lists.stanford.edu if you have any questions whatsoever about poster printing (format, turnover time, graphics, etc.) This will ensure the fastest response time and ultimately, the best quality poster with a minimum of hassle.

Typically, turnaround time for posters is 24 hours after submittal to our technical staff. The deadline to have posters printed by the CTR technical group is October 3.

Transportation

Rental car information to/from San Francisco Airport can be accessed here:

It is quite easy to use public transit to reach Stanford campus from a variety of airports.  The BART connects directly to both San Francisco Airport and the Oakland Airport. 

From SFO:
Take the BART one stop, whereupon you can switch to the Caltrain.  The BART connects to the Caltrain at Millbrae Station.  Ride the Caltrain until the Palo Alto Station. This will put you at the entrance to Palm Drive, whereupon one can ride the free Marguerite shuttle bus into and around campus, or enjoy a brisk walk into campus.

From OAK:
Take the BART all the way into San Francisco, and the south to the Millbrae Station, whereupon you can take the Caltrain to the Palo Alto Station.

From SJC:
Take the VTA Airport Flyer shuttle bus (VTA #10) to the Santa Clara Caltrain stop; there are frequent trips.  From there, head north towards San Francisco and get off at the Palo Alto Station.

STANFORD PSAAP ANNUAL REVIEW 2011

Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations for lodging. A block of rooms has been reserved at the at the Creekside Inn at ($119/night)
Reservation dates are from Oct. 17, 2010 through Oct. 19, 2010. Located 2.3 miles from the Stanford Campus.

Creekside Inn
Guests can make reservations by calling 650-493-2411 or by email res@creekside-in.com and asking for the PSAAP Annual Review. The deadline for room reservations is September 20, 2010. Reservations made after that time will be based on availability at the hotel's prevailing rates. Make your reservations early to secure a room.

Shuttle Service
