HPCToolkit Workshop: Introduction to Application Performance Analysis
on Linux Systems
Presented by: Johan Larsson
Stanford University
Building 260, Room 007 (basement level)
Thursday July 31st - 10:00 am
HPCToolkit consists of components for measuring the performance of
fully-optimized
executables generated by vendor compilers, analyzing application
binaries to correlate measurements with program structure, and novel
analysis techniques for pinpointing performance bottlenecks in
parallel programs. More information can be found here:

$17 million grant to advance simulations of hypersonic flight
Friday March 7, 2008
Stanford University
The promise of an airplane capable of cruising at hypersonic speeds is exhilarating: traveling from San Francisco to Sydney in 90 minutes, or taking off from an ordinary airport and flying into orbit around the Earth. (more...) |
VKI LECTURE SERIES COURSE ON HYPERSONIC ENTRY AND CRUISE VEHICLES
30 June – 3 July 2008
In-depth knowledge of gas dynamics at hypersonic speeds is required to define the environment and requirements for the design and safe operation of space vehicles, planetary probes, and rockets. (more...) |
Uncertainty Analysis in Complex, Multi-Physics Applications
July 25-26 2008
Despite the considerable success of computer simulation technology in science and engineering, it remains difficult to construct objective confidence bounds on the numerical predictions. (more...) |
